Don's Trouble underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.

Zipping Tex and Hardaway George collided soon after the start. Elite Eagle, Cody's Success, Midnight Gieger and Zipping Tex collided soon after the start checking Elite Eagle, Cody's Success and Midnight Gieger, Zipping Tex raced wide as a result. Elite Eagle and Cody's Success collided several times from the 300m mark to the 100m mark checking Elite Eagle. Go Shirvo Go, Dirty Azzurri and Hardaway George collided approaching the 200m mark.

Elite Eagle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.

Zipping Tex underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Cullquin Daario, Big Little Sis and Gazza's Pick were slow to begin.

Cool Titanium, Dirty Boston and Taking Off collided soon after the start checking Dirty Boston. Cullquin Daaro and Big Little Sis collided soon after the start and again approaching the 300m mark checking both greyhounds. Dirty Boston crossed to the outside approaching the 250m mark checking Gazza's Pick. Cullquin Daario checked off Big Holiday at the 200m mark and crossed to the outside. Cool Titanium checked off Big Holiday approacing the 50m mark.

Mr P. Ellul was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Don't Trust pursuant to GAR 33.

Total Diva, Moyarra Fantasy and Master Winslow were slow to begin.

Master Winslow checked off Moyarra Fantasy collided at the 200m mark. Raloo Barbara and Master Winslow collided at the 50m mark. Total Diva checked off Raloo Barbara approaching the 50m mark and crossed to the outside. 

Miller's Court – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a seasonal spell.

Due to an inadvertent dissarming of the starters lights at the boxes the time for this event was incorrectly semaphored as 27.85, however was immediately corrected to 19.60.

Scott Muscle, Buddy Blinx and Covfefe were slow to begin.

Miss Ledekey and Miller's Court collided soon after the start. Covfefe raced wide at the 300m mark checked off French Defence. Miss Ledekey raced wide approaching the 150m mark checking Miller's Court, French Defence and Buddy Blinx. Scott Muscle and Miller's Court collided approaching the 50m mark. Miss Ledekey and Covfefe collided approaching the winning post. Buddy Blinx galloped on French Defence approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds. 

Miss Ledekey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder and a left groin injury. A 14 stand down period was imposed.

Stewards conducted an Inquiry into two incidents at the starting boxes for this event involving licensed person, Mr Peter Grice.  After hearing evidence from Steward - Mr Michael Lowe, Stewards charged Mr Peter Grice in breach of : 

(1) GAR51(4) and GAR51(10)(a):  In that he failed to obey the instructions of the Starter by boxing greyhound "Buddy Blinx" ahead of the front row.  Mr Grice pleaded not guilty to the charge.  Stewards found Mr Grice guilty as charged and imposed a fine of $100.

(2) GAR51(10)(c):  In that Mr Peter Grice contacted the back of the 350m starting boxes after boxing "Buddy Blinx" for this event.  Mr Grice pleaded guilty to the charge.  Stewards found Mr Grice guilty as charged and imposed a fine of $100.

Got It Right was quick to begin.

Nick's Never and Crash Reality collided soon after the start. Crash Reality and Mister Maker collided soon after the start. Got It Right, Hillbilly Boy and Aston Jewel collided soon after the start. Keisha's Boy and Nick's Never collided approaching the 300m mark. Got It Right and Crash Reality collided approaching the 250m matrk. Keisha's Boy, Mister Maker and Hillbilly Boy collided at the 200m mark. 

Superior Briz – New declared weight of 28.6 last raced at 30.1.

A pre-race sample was taken from Princess Spolly.

Superior Briz checked off Sin And Spin soon after the start. Aztec Warrior, Shirdale Casey and Superior Briz collided at the 250m mark severely checking Shirdale Casey which stumbled. Just Talking, Sin And Spin and Princess Spolly collided at the 150m mark checking Just Talking and Sin And Spin. 

Spazzy Blue checked off Hawkie at the 250m mark. Superior Martini and Berry Bound collided at the 250m mark. Superior Martini and Tron’s Empire collided approaching the 200m mark and again at the 200m mark checking both greyhounds.

Early Special – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a change of kennel.

Bullocky Bill crossed in soon after the start checking Big Kenny Bobo and Early Special. Oliver Cruise and Tricky Tron collided at the 250m mark. Tuiaki Dora and Bullocky Bill collided at the 200m mark checking both greyhounds. Hahn Road checked off Oliver Cruise approaching the 100m mark. Yeppy Allen and Hahn Road collided approaching the winning post. 

Slipaway Whitey, Nitro Herione, Sure Load and Just Blacky collided soon after the start. Slipaway Whitey checked off Nitro Heroine soon after the start and crossed to the outside. Nitro Heroine crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark checking Sure Load and Janray Mazel Tov.
