Steward's Report
Miller's Court – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a seasonal spell.
Due to an inadvertent dissarming of the starters lights at the boxes the time for this event was incorrectly semaphored as 27.85, however was immediately corrected to 19.60.
Scott Muscle, Buddy Blinx and Covfefe were slow to begin.
Miss Ledekey and Miller's Court collided soon after the start. Covfefe raced wide at the 300m mark checked off French Defence. Miss Ledekey raced wide approaching the 150m mark checking Miller's Court, French Defence and Buddy Blinx. Scott Muscle and Miller's Court collided approaching the 50m mark. Miss Ledekey and Covfefe collided approaching the winning post. Buddy Blinx galloped on French Defence approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.
Miss Ledekey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder and a left groin injury. A 14 stand down period was imposed.

Stewards conducted an Inquiry into two incidents at the starting boxes for this event involving licensed person, Mr Peter Grice. After hearing evidence from Steward - Mr Michael Lowe, Stewards charged Mr Peter Grice in breach of :
(1) GAR51(4) and GAR51(10)(a): In that he failed to obey the instructions of the Starter by boxing greyhound "Buddy Blinx" ahead of the front row. Mr Grice pleaded not guilty to the charge. Stewards found Mr Grice guilty as charged and imposed a fine of $100.
(2) GAR51(10)(c): In that Mr Peter Grice contacted the back of the 350m starting boxes after boxing "Buddy Blinx" for this event. Mr Grice pleaded guilty to the charge. Stewards found Mr Grice guilty as charged and imposed a fine of $100.
