Crackerjack Ale – Not raced for in excess of 3 months due to a pencil muscle injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Rocket Riley.
Severus Grange and Crackerjack Ale were slow to begin.
Fiery Universe and Zipping Jersey collided on the first turn checking Fiery Universe. Severus Grange and Zipping Jersey collided entering the home straight. Rocket Riley checked off Crackerjack Ale approaching the home turn. Rocket Riley raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Champagne Luxe – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Sandown for failing to pursue the lure with due committment (injury). Weighing 29.5kgs and beginning from box 1, Champagne Luxe completed the 400m trial distance in a time of 22.62. Champagne Luxe placed 1st in a field of 4 winning by 2.75L. Champagne Luxe has been cleared to race at all tracks except Sandown.
Marcus Rose – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Geelong for marring. Weighing 28.3kgs and beginning from box 5, Marcus Rose completed the 400m trial distance in a time of 22.82. Marcus Rose placed 2nd in a field of 4 of starters beaten by 2.75L. Marcus Rose has been cleared to race at all tracks.
