A pre race sample was taken from Jackson's Girl.
Discovered was quick to begin. Troy Boyce and Nitro Heroine were slow to begin.
Almendra and Calabrese Bullet collided approaching the first turn. Almendra, Calabrese Bullet, Troy Boyce and Saint Ray collided on the first turn checking Troy Boyce and Almendra. Saint Ray and Jackson's Girl collided on the home turn. Almendra and Nitro Heroine collided on the home turn. Jackson's Girl checked off Saint Ray in the home straight.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Due to an outage of the on-course modulator, there was no Sky Channel coverage for Races 4-12 inclusive. As a result, both the Stewards and Judge operated and relied on the YouTube GRV Vision for all operational matters.
SATISFACTORY TRIAL RESULTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Faulknall, the trainer of Keeping Gracie regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Keeping Gracie last raced on 7th March 2017. Mr Faulknall stated that the greyhound was returning from a extended spell. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Keeping Gracie trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 22.6kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4 starters. The time of the trial was 22.96 the greyhound was beaten a margin of 8.75L. Keeping Gracie was Cleared.
