Prince Ferno was a late scratching at 11:42am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Lindsay Fulford was fined the sum of $100.

Kuzma was slow to begin.

Deering Danae and Flossy Lee collided at the 300m mark. Deering Danae checked off Kuzma at the 200m mark. Flossy Lee and Lady Bang Bang collided approaching the 150m mark. Kuzma crossed out approaching the 150m mark, collided with Flossy Lee and eased, causing Flossy Lee, Lady Bang Bang and Racing Opal to collide, checking all three greyhounds.  Kuzma and Flossy Lee collided approaching the 100m mark and again at the 50m mark, checking Kuzma. Kuzma galloped on Deering Danae at the 50m mark, checking both greyhounds. Racing Opal eased at the 50m mark. 

Kuzma was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Trainer, Ms Jessica Hopkins declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. 

Stewards spoke to Ms Jessica Hopkins, the trainer of the greyhound Kuzma regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the 150m mark.. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Kuzma with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms Hopkins pleased guilty to the charge, Kuzma was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Racing Opal was vetted following race 10. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Representative, Mr Calven Russell declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted.

Stewards spoke to Mr Calven Russell the representative for the greyhound Racing Opal regarding the greyhound's racing manners at the 50m mark.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Racing Opal with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Russell pleaded guilty to the charge, Racing Opal was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Reese Bobby was slow to begin. 

Reese Bobby and Gnal Gnal Girl collided soon after the start. Raven Rich and Busy Bella collided soon after the start. Chopping Spuds, Queen Lita, Raven Rich and Busy Bella collided soon after the start, checking Queen Lita and Busy Bella. La Coconut checked off Chopping Spuds at the 250m mark. Queen Lita and Busy Bella collided approaching the 150m mark. Gnal Gnal Girl, La Coconut, Chopping Spuds and Rave Rich collided at the 150m mark, checking Chopping Spuds. Gnal Gnal Girl and La Coconut collided at the 100m mark. 

Good Move and Merl's Michu were slow to begin. 

Shadrack and Amanda Lee collided soon after the start. Just Over faltered at the 250m mark and subsequently tailed off. Shadrack checked off Amanda Lee approaching the 100m mark. 

Just Over was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left triangle muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

A sample was taken from Merl's Michu- the winner of the event. 

A pre- race sample was taken from Tanya's Way. 

Black Dash Three crossed to the rails soon after the start, checking Bela Natali and Tanya's Way. Soda Maxi checked off Black Dash Three at the 250m mark. Bela Natali and Tanya's Way collided at the 250m mark. 

Cosa Bona was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist sprain. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Destini Florida was slow to begin. 

Dorset Dasha and Lanis Morris collided at the 200m mark, checking Lanis Morris. Lanis Morris checked off Agent Osti at the 150m mark. Emilia Magic faltered at the 150m mark, checking Wet And Wild and Agent Osti and severely checking Tuiaki Dora which stumbled and lost considerable ground. 

Emilia Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock. A 90 day stand down period was imposed. 

Tuiaki Dora was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Mr Peter Schofield, the trainer of Devil One declared a new weight of 34.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Devil One last raced at 33.4kgs.

Deflection was slow to begin. 

Emilia Mel checked off Devil One at the 300m mark and collided with Fancy Hope. Emilia Mel and Fancy Hope collided at the 250m mark, checking Fancy Hope. Fancy Hope checked off Emilia Mel at the 150m mark.

Jaggered Stone began awkwardly and was slow to begin. 

Sudden Call, Jamie Marie and Winter Soldier collided soon after the start. Jaggered Stone and Electric Hippy collided at the 300m mark. Jamie Marie, Sudden Call and Winter Soldier collided at the 150m mark. Winter Stone galloped on Jamie Marie at the 100m mark, severely checking both greyhounds. 

A sample was taken from Swift Mandy - the winner of the event. 

Tat Barbie was slow to begin. 

Crime Minister and Keno Bale collided soon after the start. Viewing checked off Alouette Jack at the 300m mark. Alouette Jack and Osti's Sprite collided at the 300m mark. Crime Minister and Keno Bale collided several times from the 300m mark to the 200m mark, checking both greyhounds. 

Osti's Sprite was vetted following an incident in the catching pen. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Ms Adele Powell, the representative of Lady Simmeron regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lady Simmeron last raced on 27 July, 2018 and is returning to racing following a right hock injury. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Lady Simmeron. 

Lady Simmeron was slow to begin and collided with Unsullied soon after the start. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Lindsay Fulford, the representative for Ruby's Cheekstar regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ruby's Cheekstar last raced on 1 September, 2018 and is returning to racing following a change of kennel.
