The track was harrowed on Thursday 23rd January 2014.

Rhythm System, Lita's Lad and Rock Rebel were slow to begin.  Cappy's Boy crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Pera Diyos, Crazy Apple and Normy McShuffle.  Rock Rebel raced wide at the 300m mark.  Lita's Lad checked off Pera Diyos at the 250m mark.  Cappy's Boy faltered at the 200m mark and tailed off.

Cappy's Boy was vetted and re-vetted following race 3.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right carpus.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

My Baby Porscha was a late scratching at 11.29am on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Wittle Wassallo and Pennsylvania Is collided soon after the start.  Strike Me Lucky and Magic Apple collided soon after the start.  Pennsylvania Is crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Wittle Wassallo, Ant Smasher and Wicked Wendy.  Ant Smasher crossed to the outside at the 250m mark.

Van Gerwen, Taymel Apache and Tayler's Special were slow to begin.  Taymel Apache, Riddle Me Lad and Light Of Faith collided soon after the start.  Black Eyed Papa and Tayler's Special collided soon after the start and again on the 300m mark.  Van Gerwen and Taymel Apache collided at the 300m mark.  Taymel Apache and Riddle Me Lad collided at the 250m mark.  Light Of Faith and Night Keeper collided approaching the 200m mark.  Taymel Apache and Riddle Me Lad collided at the 150m mark.  Light Of Faith and Night Keeper collided several times from the 100m mark to the winning post, checking Light Of Faith.

Carbon Cry was slow to begin.  Crowdza Roaring crossed in soon after the start, checking Twobeeyou, Carbon Cry and Crowdza Roaring.  Carbon Cry and Crowdza Roaring collided at the 300m mark, checking Crowdza Roaring.  Survivor Sal and Crowdza Roaring collided at the 250m mark and again at the 200m mark. 

Baron Bling and Booma Mikado were slow to begin.  He Can Whirl, Pappa Gallo, Miss Geeves and Tina Two collided soon after the start, checking He Can Whirl and Pappa Gallo.  Gypsy Goddess checked off Miss Geeves at the 300m mark and crossed to the outside, checking He Can Whirl, Pappa Gallo and Tina Two.  Baron Bling and Booma Mikado collided at the 300m mark.  He Can Whirl and Tina Two collided several times from approaching the 250m mark to the 150m mark.  Baron Bling and Booma Mikado collided at the 250m mark.  Gypsy Goddess crossed to the rail at the 200m mark.  Baron Bling, Booma Mikado and Miss Geeves collided at the 150m mark.  Booma Mikado and Miss Geeves collided approaching the winning post.

Blingtastic was a late scratching at 11.47am due to illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mister Mint was slow to begin.  My Senorita and Walkaway Ablaze collided soon after the start.  Mister Mint crossed in soon after the start.

Due to a malfunction with the Judge's equipment, no photo finish was available for this race.  Judges used the back up system and their own observations to determine the placings and margins for this event.

Bar No Comment was slow to begin.  Lucy Rae, Bling My Day and Bill Dodger collided soon after the start, checking Bill Dodger. 

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Ten Grand Large became partially dislodged during the event.

Victa Bale and Prince Lark collided soon after the start.  Five Star Knocka and Dirty Mary collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark.

Prince Nitro, Jack's Legend and Pilbara Gold were slow to begin.  Rival Josh crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Gazzabill.  Gazzabill and Rival Josh collided at the 250m mark, checking Gazzabill.  Prince Nitro and Doveton Boy collided at the 150m mark. 

We Own It was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to both hocks.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dungarvan was slow to begin.  Surfin' Morris was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Dugarvan crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Trictonite, Indigo Boris and Tabouli collided approaching the 250m mark, checking Tabouli.  Sisco Flyer, Trictonite and Indigo Boris collided at the 250m mark. 

High Babe stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Duggan Balancing and McKnight collided soon after the start.  Highfield Romeo, Yeh Right and Duggan Balancing collided at the 300m mark.  Highfield Romeo and McKnight collided at 150m mark, checking Highfield Romeo. 

Marralita, Timomatic and Go Dumbo were slow to begin.  Timomatic crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Bold Faith and Abandon Paradise collided soon after the start.  Bold Faith, Travlouliza and Lady Senorita collided at the 300m mark.  Timomatic, Daddy Yo and Marralita collided at the 100m mark.
