Cougar Icon and Blackpool Flyer collided approaching the first turn. Pandora's Devil checked off Smurf approaching the home turn. Pandora's Devil and Broken Rules collided approaching the home turn, checking Broken Rules which lost ground as a result. Expresso Love and Blackpool colloded on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Broken Rules was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a Thoraco-lumbar injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Trew Danger.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Collyer, the representative of Trew Danger regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Trew Danger last raced on 2/8/18. Mr. Collyer stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right fibula injury.

Happy Rage was quick to begin.

Trew Danger crossed to the rail soon after the start causing Trew Danger, Ruby's Rosa and Skeeta Storm to collide, checking all greyhounds. Aunty Chris faulted approaching the home turn and collided wirh La Coconut as a result. Ugo Girl and Skeeta Storm raced wide on the home straight.

Aunty Chris was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left caral sprain, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Come On Pepper was a late scratching at 2.10pm due to diarrhea (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Dyna Darius was slow to begin.

Dyna Ringo and Dyna Joanie collided on the first turn. Dyna Darius checked off Dyna Ringo approaching the home turn. Dyna Darius checked off Dyna Ringo on the home turn causing Dyna Darius and Dyna Joanie to collide.

Suvla Bay was quick to begin. 

Cosmic Brew was slow to begin.

Kurri Kurri and Adori collided on the first turn. Midnight Act checked off Catch You Later approaching the home turn . Cosmic Brew raced wide in the home straight. 

Winlock Slim, Lilty Allen and Patchie Thief collided soon after the start, checking all greyhounds. Winlock Slim, Lilty Allen and Patchie Thief collided approaching the first turn checking Lilty Allen which lost ground as a result. Dashing  Diamond and El Grand Richo collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.

Pattaya Paul faulted approaching the first turn and lost ground as a result. Jimary Siesta and Monkey Mite collided on the first turn. Meet Half Way checked off Hardy's Banjo in the home straight.

Pattaya Paul was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a injury to the right back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Miss Brew, Shorty George and Travel Easy collided soon after the start. Quick Transition and Slick Brew collided soon after the start. Travel Easy and Graphic Print collided approaching the first turn. Travel Easy and Shorty George collided on the first turn. Shorty George checked off Travel Easy approaching the home turn causing Shorty George and Graphic Print to collide, Graphic Print fell as a result. Miss Brew and Slick Brew collided approaching the home turn. Charlie Bear checked off Cruising Betty  entering the home straight.

Graphic Print was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left quadriceps injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Charlie Bear – placed third in the event.

Mickie Raven and Shady Buck collided soon after the start. Great Success and Nambrok Agent collided soon after the start. Dodge An" Steele and Maximum Jan collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Antarctic Lass, Dodge An' Steele and Maximum Jan collided approaching the home turn causing Antarctic Lass, Shady Buck and Maximum Lass to collide, checking Mickie Raven and causing it to race wide. Maximum Jan checked off Antarctic Lass on the home turn. Great Success raced wide on the home turn.

Great Success was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Miss Oreo Mac crossed to the rail soon after the start, causing Miss Oreo Mac, Sudden Call and Master Cosmic to collide Master Cosmic stumbled as a result. Sudden Call and Miss Oreo Mac collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Oreo Mac. Master Cosmic checked off Miss Oreo Mac approaching the home turn.

Master Cosmic was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left carpal sprain, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Tashendo.

Shimmy Dat Ray and Tashendo collided soon after the start. Tashendo and Cavalry Rose collided approaching the first turn. Shimmy Dat Ray and Chrissy Pee collided approaching the first turn. Chrissy Pee and Due Fratteli collided on the first turn. Lacarabine and Red Neck Miss collided on the first turn. Tashendo checked off Cavalry Rose approaching the home turn causing Tashendo, Du Fratteli to collide. Shimmy Dat Ray checked off Tashendo approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds causing Tashendo and Lacarabine to collide and both greyhounds raced wide as a result. Red Neck Miss raced wide in the home straight.

Kiowa Kaema, Spring Kitty and Sky Rising collided on the first turn , checking Spring Kitty causing Spring Kitty and Agent Osti to collide. Almendra checked off Spring Kitty approaching the home turn. Miami Fernando checked off Sky Rising approaching the winning post.

Sanya Bay and Jellybean Jess collided soon after the start. Mexican Ned and Spritely Brew collided approaching the first turn. Jellybean Jess checked off Sanya Bay on the first turn; Jellbean Jess fell as a result. Raging Inferno checked off Riverdale Danger approaching the home turn. Raging Inferno and Mexican Ned collided approaching the home turn. Raging Inferno and Spritely Brew collided approaching the home turn.

Jellybean Jess was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A sample was taken from Merl's Blaze - the winner of the event.

Re-Vetted Greyhound - Mayhem Storm was presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling and was Not Cleared to race.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Wok Djay trialled over the 400m from box 8, weight 34.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 5th in a field of 5 starters. The time of the trial was 23.18, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2.25L. Wok Djay was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Lireva trialled over the 400m from box 3, weight 27.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5 starters. The time of the trial was 23.18, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 0.75L. Livera was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - My Boy Joey trialled over the 400m from box 1, weight 30.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 5 starters. The time of the trial was 23.18, the greyhound won by a margin of 0.75L. My Boy Joey was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Fabrebab trialled over the 400m from box 6, weight 26.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 5 starters. The time of the trial was 23.18, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 0.75. Fabrebab was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr A. Debattista, the trainer of Miss Terindah regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Miss Terindah  last raced on 18 July 2018. Mr A. Debattista stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from an injury to both monkey muscles. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Miss Terindah trialled over the 400m from box 4, weight 27.7kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 5 starters. The time of the trial was 23.18, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1L. Miss Terindah was Cleared.
