Stewards spoke to Mr. V. Mileto, the trainer of My Name's George regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. My Name's George last raced on 6th September 2018 Mr. Mileto stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a left back toe injury.

Dark Origins was a late scratching by Order Of Stewards at 3:38pm. Stewards spoke to the handler Mr. K.Blake regarding the circumstances for the wrong greyhound being presented for racing. Stewards noted Mr. Blake's explanation and he was fined the sum of $250 pursuant to GAR 31 (1).

Dyna Dixon was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abraison to the left hock. No stand down period was imposed.

Eye Dunno was a late scratching at 11:47am due to a right wrist injury (GAR 23). Stewards spoke to trainer Mr J.Hetherton regarding the late scratching of the greyhound Eye Dunno. Mr Hetherton stated that he emptied the greyhound at 7am and there was no anomalies. When checking the greyhound prior to leaving for racing the greyhound had a right wrist injury. Stewards noted Mr Hethertons explanation and took no further action. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Matesy's Girl was a late scratching at 11:47am due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Emgee Sprinter, Luka's Choice, Sukhoi Su and Able collided soon after the start checking Luka's Choice. Emgee Sprinter and Sukhou Su collided on the first turn checking Emgee Sprinter and Luka's Choice. Emgee Sprinter checked off the heels of Wynonna Earp checking Luka's Choice on the home turn.
