Steward's Report
Zefron was a late scratching at 2.55pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a left hind toe injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Latissimus Dorsi.
Why Not Loz shifted in soon after the start, checking Tiggy Buzzard and Ginza Lion. Loosey Jabna checked off Ginza Lion approaching the first turn. Destini Cheetah checked off Tiggy Buzzard on the first turn. Destini Cheetah checked off Ginza Lion on the first turn.
Loosey Jabna, which faltered in the catching pen, was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left humerus and was humanely euthanased.
Meeting Comments:
