Ms M Shaw, representing Mr G Campbell, the trainer of Fantastic Bear declared a new weight of 34.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Fantastic Bear last raced at Geelong on 6 September, 2018 at a weight of 33.5kgs.
Mr M Said, trainer of Spur declared a new weight of 32.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Spur last raced at Warragul on 30 August, 2018 30.8kg
A pre-race sample was taken from Spur.
Spring Ace and Fantastic Bear were slow to begin.
