Serendipity Gold, Aston Sultan and Mr Moonlight collided soon after the start. Firefly Nuts and Lucky Love collided soon after the start, checking Lucky Love. Mr Moonlight and Firefly Nuts raced tight and collided on several occasions from approaching the first turn to the first turn checking Firefly Nuts. Aston Sultan checked off Manzeene Magic approaching the home turn. Logistic Kid tired over the concluding stages of the event.
