Mr J. Holt, trainer of Cosmic Cookie declared a new weight of 23.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Cosmic Cookie last raced at 27.0kg.

Terrah Pin was quick to begin. Snakes Alive, Panther Lane and Western Bomber were slow to begin.

Roger's Boy and Terrah Pin collided approaching the 250m mark checking both greyhounds. Panther Lane and Cosmic Cookie colllided approaching the 200m mark checking Cosmic Cookie. Terrah Pin and Roger's Boy collided approaching the 200m mark checking Roger's Boy.

Roger's Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a deep laceration on the right hock. A 7 Day stand down period was imposed.

Dirty Stella was quick to begin.

Got Some Zip and Dirty Stella collided approaching the 250m mark checking Dirty Stella. Got Some Zip and Dirty Stella collided approaching the 200m mark checking Dirty Stella. Got Some Zip and Dirty Stella collided approaching the 150m  mark checking both greyhounds. Got Some Zip and Don's Gas collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr S. Waycott, the trainer of Eretria regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Eretria last raced on 28th May, 2018. Mr Waycott stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a seasonal spell.

Reality Sail and Sylo were slow to begin.

Alice Sprung crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Eretria and Sylo. Reality Sail crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Sylo at the 250m mark. Holiday Dancer crossed to the outside at the 200m mark checking Reality Sail and Alice Sprung. Holiday Dancer checked off Sylo causing Holiday Dancer to lose considerable ground. Reality Sail and Alice sprung collided approaching the 100m mark.

Holiday Dancer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a sore right shoulder. A 5 Day stand down period was imposed. Stewards advised Mr K. Howat that prior to any future nominations being accepted for Holiday Dancer  a veterinary certificate must be produced to the satisfaction of the Stewards stating that at the time of examination, the greyhound is fit to start pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v)

Dirty Max was slow to begin.

Magical Ruby and Bring The Spring collided soon after the start. Gnal Gnal Girl crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Choose, Big Holiday, Wild Vane, Magical Ruby and Bring The Spring. Big Holiday and Spot On Mick collided at the 300m mark. Choose and Wild Vane collided approaching the 250m mark.  Choose and Wild Vane collided several times from the 200m mark to 100m mark causing both dogs to ease and tail off. Dirty Max, Magical Ruby, Gnal Gnal Girl and Bring The Spring collided at the 100m mark. Magical Ruby checked off Gnal Gnal Girl at the 50m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Burch, the trainer of the greyhound Choose regarding the greyhounds racing manners.  Choose was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left hock, no stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Choose with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Burch pleaded guilty to the charge, Choose was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Wild Vane was vetted following the event, Mr MaCallum declined to the greyhound re-vetted  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Wild with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr McCallum pleaded guilty to the charge, Wild Vane was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aeroplane Bella and Tibialis collided at the 300m mark. Billy's Missile and Billy Swagger collided at the 300m mark. Aeroplane Bella and Tibialis collided at the 250m mark. Gunna Be Hoping and Guevara collided approaching the 150m mark. Gunna Be Hoping, Guevara and Uncle Bump collided at the 150m mark checking Tibialis. Uncle Bump and Guevara collided at the 150m mark. Meeting Comments:

Stewards today concluded an Inquiry adjourned on 16 November, 2018 into an incident which occurred following the running of Event 3 at Healesville in which a greyhound identified as "She Loves Me" trained by Mr B Ender escaped from a vehicle in the vicinity of the carpark and ran to the 350m boxes.  After considering all the evidence tendered on 16 November, 2018 from Messrs B Ender and D Pryse, Stewards charged Mr D Pryse with breach of GAR 86(o) in that he negligently failed to ensure that greyhound "She Loves Me" was securely locked in his vehicle causing the greyhound to escape and run from the carpark to the 350m boxes following the running of Event 3 at Healesville on 16 November, 2018.  Mr D Pryse pleaded guilty to the charge.  Stewards found Mr D Pryse guilty as charged and fined him the sum of $250.  In considering penalty, Stewards took into consideration Mr Pryse's umblemished record and suspended $150 of the $250 fine pending no further breach under GAR 86(o) for a period of 12 months.  Stewards also reminded Trainer, Mr B Ender, of his responsibilities in that if he failed to ensure that his greyhound was securely locked in a vehicle owned by Mr. D Pryse.
