A pre race sample was taken from Sunningdale.
Riverdale Tarzan was slow to begin.
Don Quixote and Standing Bear collided soon after the start, checking Standing Bear. Myrtle Grange checked off Sunningdale on the first turn. Sunningdale checked off Don Quixote approaching the home turn checking Karise Fusileer and Myrtle Grange. Sunningdale checked off Mask on the home turn and collided with Why Not Archie as a result.
Samples were taken from the placegetters - Karise Fusileer (1st), Riverdale Tarzan (2nd) and Don Quixote (3rd).
Meeting Details.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr R Boehm, the handler of Avatar Maximus regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Avatar Maximus last raced on 3 April 2018. Mr Boehm stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Avatar Maximus trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 33.5kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.68, the greyhound won by a margin of 8L Avatar Maximus was Cleared.
