One Brew and Whizzing collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Whizzing.  One Brew and Aunty Chris collided approaching the home turn, checking Aunty Chris.  Little Steps crossed to the outside on the home turn and collided with Aunty Chris, forcing Torah's Toy to race wide.

Yep Yep was a late scratching at 2.46pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mrs S. Taylor was fined the sum of $100.

Mrs. R. Kenyon, trainer of Latinize declared a new weight of 25.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Latinize last raced at 24.4kg.

I'm Circus and Inga Ross were slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Treherne, the trainer of the greyhound Lightning Ben regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Lightning Ben was vetted following the event and revetted following race 10.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Lightning Ben with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Treherne pleaded guilty to the charge, Lightning Ben was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Jiggy's Luck, Dyna Cassie and Bella Express collided approaching the first turn.  Jiggy's Luck Oaklands and Becket collided on the first turn, checking Jiggy's Luck and Dyna Cassie and severely checking Lucky Love and Oaklands, Oaklands fell as a result.

Lucky Love was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right wrist.  No stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Cassie was vetted following the event after an incident on the "finish on lure".  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a distal articular fracture of the right tibia and was humanely euthanased.

Oaklands was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left metatarsal.  No stand down period was imposed.

Glascoe Sally and Coconut Gloria collided soon after the start.  Jimbo's Sox, Sukhoi Su and Riverdale Danger collided on the first turn, checking Jimbo's Sox and Sukhoi Su.  Riverdale Paddy checked off Elle's Toy on the first turn.  Sukhoi Su contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result.

Sukhoi Su was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left elbow.  No stand down period was imposed.

Aston Veloci and Barked Off collided soon after the start.  Crackerjack Tags, Hit Me Up, Crainy's Wish and Osti's Sprite collided approaching the first turn, checking Hit Me Up and Crainy's Wish.  Crainy's Wish checked off Osti's Sprite approaching the first turn.  Aston Veloci, Barked Off and TakeThat Banksy collided approaching the first turn, checking Aston Veloci and Take That Banksy.  Aston Veloci and Crainy's Wish collided on the first turn.  Aston Veloci and Quen Bale collided approaching the home turn, checking Quen Bale.  Hit Me Up galloped on the heels of Osti's Sprite approaching the home turn, checking Hit Me Up.  Hit Me Up raced wide on the home turn.

Hit Me Up was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a fourteen day stand down period was imposed.

Pharoah's Dream and Bolare were quick to begin.  Chrissy Pee was slow to begin.

Bolare shifted in soon after the start and collided with Pharoah's Dream, in turn checking Mini Fernando and Logistic Kid.  Pharoah's Dream, Logistic Kid and Cavalry Rose collided approaching the first turn, checking Logistic Kid.  Miami Fernando and Rocketness collided on the first turn, checking Miami Fernanado.  Miami Fernando, Mini Fernando, Chrissy Pee and Logistic Kid collided on the home turn.

Mr. D. Trewin, trainer of Destini Agitator declared a new weight of 36.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Destini Agitator last raced at 34.6kg.

Eureka Osti was quick to begin.   Miss Premier and Ohio Fernando were slow to begin.

Dorothy Dawn and Ohio Fernando collided approaching the first turn.  Dorothy Dawn, Ohio Fernando and Tuscan Dream collided on the first turn.  Emerley Giggler checked off Ohio Fernando on the first turn.

Meeting Comments:

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Chapman, the trainer of Shady Buck regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Shady Buck last raced on 5th April, 2018.  Mr. Chapman stated that the greyhoiund was returning to racing following a right hock injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Shady Buck trialled over the 400m from box 1, weight 34.4kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.98, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 0.5L.  Shady Buck was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Raloo Barbara trialled over the 400m from box 8, weight 33.7kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.98 the greyhound won by a margin of 0.5L. Raloo Barbara was Cleared.
