Sight Screen checked off Blackpool Remi soon after the start. Ragged Warrior and Blackpool Remi collided on the first turn, checking Blackpool Remi. Murrabit Benny checked off Blackpool Remi on the first turn. Lady Bystander checked off Ragged Warrior approaching the home turn. Lyria galloped on Lady Bystander approaching the home turn, severely checking Lady Bystander. Blackpool Remi checked off Ragged Warrior on the home turn causing Nostalgia to race wide. Nostalgia, Lyria and Murrabit Benny collided on the home turn, checking all three greyhounds. Lyria checked off Murrabit Benny in the home straight.
Lady Bystander was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained bruising to the right hock. A five-day stand down period was imposed.
