Wolf Point was slow out. Spud's Mate and Dubai Prince collided soon after the start checking Dubai Prince. Bumper Farrell and Spud's Mate collided approaching the first turn. Dubai Prince and Girt By Sea collided approaching the first turn checking Dubai Prince. Bumper Farrell, Aston Veloci and Spud's Mate collided on the first turn checking Spud's Mate. Just Banji faltered approaching the home turn and tailed off as a result. Spud's Mate and Arcup Usain collided on the home turn checking Arcup Usain.
Just Banji was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey and right deltoid muscles, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
