Stewards spoke to Mr M.Carter, the trainer of Millett regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Millett last raced on 10 May, 2018. Mr Carter stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after injured right stifle muscle.
On Billy's Wings and Millett collided soon after the start. Chrissy Pee and Millett collided approaching the first turn. Millett and Rockalot collided on the first turn. Striking Bikini and Millett collided approaching the home turn. Kiwi Collision checked off Millett approaching the home turn causing Kiwi Collision and Chrissy Pee to collide. Eau Rouge brushed the running rail approaching the home turn causing Eau Rouge and Millett to collide. Kiwi Collision checked off Eau Rouge entering the home straight. Eau Rouge checked off Striking Bikini in the home straight. Eau Rouge and Millett collided approaching the winning post.
