Dr. Mino missed the start (6 lengths). Alpha Midas and Quotation Mark collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Alpha Midas, Styles and Hone In collided on the first turn checking Hone In and Styles. Quotation Mark and Hone In collided approaching the home turn. Dandalup Dasher faltered on the home turn and lost ground as a result. Quotation Mark checked off Dandalup Dasher on the home turn causing Styles to race wide. Peter Yap and Hone In collided entering the home straight.
Dandalup Dasher was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
