Steward's Report
King Brew was slow to begin.
Don's Trouble and Lacarabine collided approaching the first turn checking Don's Trouble. Nelso Allen weakened in the home straight and lost ground.
Nelso Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound cramped, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr C. Grenfell, the trainer of the greyhound Nelso Allen. Acting in accordance with GAR 71(Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Lady Bystander - winner of the event.
