Gwenog Jones did not have a designated catcher at the completion of the event. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. I. Cockerell who stated that he engaged Ms. A. Kenyon to catch his greyhound. After confirming Mr. Cockerell's statement with Ms. Kenyon, Stewards issued her a warning for failing to ensure the greyhound was caught.

Maina Honey was quick to begin.

Mr T. Dorrington was issued with a warning under GAR 86  after the greyhound Mania Honey was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Club Kenneling Staff were issued with a warning after the greyhound Mania Honey was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. The matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation. 

Medina, Rosie Cotton, Mepunga Remi, Mysterious Mara and Mini Yaala collided on the first turn, checking Rosie Cotton, Mepunga Remi, Mysterious Mara and Mini Yaala. Whip Allen checked off Vivatar approaching the first turn.  Vivatar galloped on the heels of Con Rod on the first turn, checking Vivatar.  Prancing Turbo, Con Rod and Blue Hunter collided on the first turn, checking Con Rod.  Whip Allen checked off Vivatar approaching the home turn.  Aron Allen, Vivatar and Suvla Bay collided approaching the home turn, checking Suvla Bay and Vivatar. Con Rod checked off Prancing Turbo in the home straight.
