Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Blue Missile.
Beaut Deeds and Kraken Pat were quick to begin. Solar Tiny, Hello Goodnight and Kinloch Breeze collided approaching the first turn, checking Hello Goodnight and Kinloch Breeze. Hello Goodnight checked off Kinloch Breeze on the first turn. Hello Goodnight checked off Heart Beats True approaching the home turn. Beaut Deeds and Kinloch Breeze collided entering the home straight. Kinloch Breeze turned its head outwards in the home straight, and collided with Beaut Deeds and Solar Tiny. Kraken Pat and Kinloch Breeze collided approaching the winning post, checking Kraken Pat.
Kinloch Breeze underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg triangle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr G Gledhill, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Kinloch Breeze was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Gledhill pleaded guilty to the charge, Kinloch Breeze must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
