Steward's Report
Samples were taken from Lucy's Milo, Whiskey Riot, Dyna Patty and Myrniong And All at the Trainer’s kennel earlier today.
Crimson Vixen, Dyna Patty and Dyna Hunter were quick to begin. Whiskey Riot was slow to begin. Eye Got It and Dyna Hunter collided soon after the start. Whiskey Riot and Dyna Hunter collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Orson Allen checked the heels of Myrniong And All on the first turn. Lucy's Milo veered in marred, colliding several times and checking Crimson Vixen in the home straight.
Lucy's Milo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a torn nail and abrasion to the left dew claw. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms A.Dailly, the trainer of Lucy's Milo regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Lucy's Milo was charged with marring. Ms Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Lucy's Milo is suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race urine and blood sample was taken from Dyna Patty - the winner of the event.
A post-race sample was taken from Orson Allen - the second placegetter of the event.
A post-race sample was taken from Crimson Vixen - the third placegetter of the event.
