Steward's Report
Fancy Fabio - Late scratching at 7:39pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a laceration to the left thigh. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Chillin' The Fat was slow to begin. Red Beryl and Off To Monaco collided on the first turn checking Red Beryl. Gruff Rose checked off Red Beryl on the first turn and stumbled as a result and lost considerable ground. Chillin' The Fat contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.
Gruff Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left front foot. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Aston Tequila - the winner of the event.
