Lottie Biscotti was quick to begin.  Midnight Marzy and Another Shiner were slow to begin.  Sapphire Power, Lottie Glenda and Kiss Me Nicki collided on the first turn checking Sapphire Power.  Lottie Biscotti faltered approaching the second turn and subsequently tailed off.  Kiss Me Nicki raced wide on the home turn.

Lottie Biscotti underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Lightning Boxy was slow to begin.  Superior Bont, Hurricane Rose and Aston Axel collided approaching the first turn checking Hurricane Rose and Aston Axel.  Ichiban Fairy checked off Superior Bont approaching the first turn.  Lightning Boxy and Aston Axel collided on the first turn.  Perfect Rocky crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Superior Bont and Mepunga Billy.  Mepunga Billy and Superior Bont collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Takaho Tiger and Who's Got Class were slow to begin.  Minter Bee Cash, Buy Me Diamonds and Zelzer Allen collided soon after the start checking Minter Bee Cash.  Valencia Gem, Minter Bee Cash and Zelzer Allen collided on the first turn checking Valencia Gem.  Trophy Trophy and Spring Bomber collided entering the back straight checking Spring Bomber.  Minter Bee Cash, Takaho Tiger and Who's Got Class collided on the second turn checking Who's Got Class.  Trophy Trophy checked off Minter Bee Cash approaching the home turn. Spring Bomber underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury and a left monkey muscle injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Who's Got Class underwent a  post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Bowman, the trainer of Who's Got Class regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1)  Who's Got Class was charged with marring.  Mr. Bowman pleaded guilty to the charge, Who's Got Class is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomonation will be accepted.

Fancy Fabio - Late scratching at 7:39pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a laceration to the left thigh.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Chillin' The Fat was slow to begin.  Red Beryl and Off To Monaco collided on the first turn checking Red Beryl.  Gruff Rose checked off Red Beryl on the first turn and stumbled as a result and lost considerable ground.  Chillin' The Fat contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.

Gruff Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left front foot.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
