Steward's Report
Lektra Bear was quick to begin.
Inga Mikey and Reiko Opal collided soon after the start. Shankly and Zipping Atticus collided soon after the start checking Zipping Atticus. Lektra Bear crossed in approaching the first turn checking Shankly, Reiko Opal and Inga Mikey. Zipping Atticus and Striking Success collided approaching the first turn checking Striking Success. Striking Success, Hunter's Moon and Hadarah Bale collided approaching the first turn. Inga Mikey and Hunter's Moon collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds, causing Inga Mikey to fall checking Reiko Opal who raced as a result.
Inga Mikey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hamstring injury. A 5 stand down period was imposed.
