Euro Marsh checked off Sultan Bale soon after the start.  Zipping Arden checked off Miss Dina approaching the first turn checking Sultan Bale.  Lektra Lyrebird raced wide on the first and seconds turns.   Zipping Arden checked off Miss Dina on the second turn checking Sultan Bale, causing Zipping Arden to lose ground.  Euro Marsh checked off Miss Dina on the third turn.  Sultan Bale and Miss Dina collided approaching the winning post.

Lektra Bear was quick to begin.

Inga Mikey and Reiko Opal collided soon after the start.  Shankly and Zipping Atticus collided soon after the start checking Zipping Atticus.  Lektra Bear crossed in approaching the first turn checking Shankly, Reiko Opal and Inga Mikey.  Zipping Atticus and Striking Success collided approaching the first turn checking Striking Success.  Striking Success, Hunter's Moon and Hadarah Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Inga Mikey and Hunter's Moon collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds, causing Inga Mikey to fall checking Reiko Opal who raced as a result.  

Inga Mikey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hamstring injury. A 5 stand down period was imposed.

Starry's Lad and Lektra Rebel collided soon after the start.  Starry's Lad, Lektra Rebel, Reiko Houdini and Marez Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Starry's Lad, Reiko Houdini and severely checking Lektra Rebel.  Zipping Clifford, Marez Bale and Opala Bale collided on the first turn checking Zipping Clifford, Starry's Lad, Humble Inquiry and Opala Bale.  Starry's Lad and Reiko Houdini collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds.

Fab Bourbski and Adori collided on the second turn checking Adori.  Fab Bourbski and Dyna Wink collided on the second turn checking Dyna Wink.  Miss Toy and Jonty Bale collided on the home turn.  Fab Bourbski and Jonty Bale collided entering the home straight checking Jonty Bale. 

Maximum Lara - Late scratching at 11.54am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a split nail. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Nella Bale as handler Ms K. Heinrich failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time, a post-race sample was subsequently taken. Stewards issued a warning on this occasion pursuant to GAR 46(2). Stewards also issued a warning to trainer Mrs A. Dailly for failing to organise a handler to be available by the appointed time. 

Star Fever was quick to begin.  Our Airman was slow to begin.

Kessler Bale and Our Airman collided soon after the start.  Nella Bale, Maramba and Kessler Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Maramba and Our Airman collided on the first turn.  Dyna Zaylee checked off Star Fever on the first turn.  Maramba checked off Nella Bale approaching the home turn.

Zelzer Allen was quick to begin.  Fifty Dollar was slow to begin. 

Zelzer Allen and Micky Rads collided soon after the start.  Tampico and Kiss Me Razley collided approaching the first turn.  Noonbarra Jack, Micky Rads and Zelzer Allen collided approaching the first turn checking Micky Rads. Zelzer Allen and Tampico collided on the first turn checking Zelzer Allen, Kiss Me Razley, Micky Rads and severely checking Fifty Dollar, Tampico and Trademark Rocky, causing Trademark Rocky to lose considerable ground. 

Trademark Rocky underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Yoppi Allen was quick to begin.  Rynell Bale was slow to begin.

Magpie Robbie and Rynell Bale collided approaching the second turn.  Our Rock Man checked off Royal Jebrynah on the third turn severely checking Our Rock Man which fell as a result checking Figure Eight and Rynell Bale.
