Rapidash underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.

Early Promise, Pacey  Bale and Off To Monaco were quick to begin.  Spectator checked off Speedy Readie soon after the start.  Cailah Thai and Off To Monaco collided on the first turn checking Off To Monaco.  Pacey Bale, Go Pappa Go and Off To Monaco collided on the first turn checking Pacey Bale and Off To Monaco.  Off To Monaco checked off Spectator on the home turn.

Following the event Neo Bale displayed signs of Post Exercise Distress Syndrome (PEDS) in the catching pen.  As a result, the greyhound underwent a veterinary examination and was found to be displaying clinical signs of Ataxia/Hypermetria.  A 5 day stand down penalty was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Coulson, the representative of Neo Bale and advised him that the greyhound would be closely monitored in future events.

MARRING SATISFACTORY TRIAL -

Valencia Kid - Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Sandown for Marring.  Weighing 30.7kgs and beginning from box 4, Valencia Kid completed the 440m trial distance in a time of 25:11.  Valencia Kid placed 1st in a field of 4 winning by 8.00 lengths.  Valencia Kid has been cleared to race at all tracks except Sandown.

Lemonade Kid - Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Sale for Marring.  Weighing 28.6kgs and beginning from box 2,  Lemonade Kid completed the 440m trial distance in a time of 25:11.  Lemonade Kid placed 3rd in a field of 4 beaten by 8.25 lengths.  Lemonade Kid has been cleared to race at all tracks.
