Hook Along Flyer and Zipping Dodge were slow to begin.
One For Many and Sarah Smirnoff collided soon after the start. Hook Along Flyer checked off Zipping Dodge approaching the first turn. Folding Green checked off One For Many approaching the first turn. Big Deal, One For Many, Sarah Smirnoff and Zipping Dodge collided on the first turn checking One For Many and Sarah Smirnoff. Big Deal and Akina Dee Jay collided on the third turn. One For Many checked off Hook Along Flyer in the home straight.
Trainer Mr A. Varchione requested that Sarah Smirnoff undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right calf injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
