As the Judge had not arrived on course, the first race was delayed and re-scheduled to begin at 3.29PM. All races subsequently went back one race, with race 12 being re-scheduled to 6.55PM.

Saint Burner was quick to begin.

Miss Klara and Cawbourne Mav collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Kid Winslow and Saint Burner collided approaching the first turn. Miss Klara checked off Saint Burner on the first turn. 

For this event the semaphore board inadvertently displayed Race 2.

Saint Destructor and Nimble Leo were slow to begin.

Star Fever and Thomeli Tash collided soon after the start. Aston Jewel, Star Fever and Thomeli Tash collided approaching the first turn. Saint Destructor and Kathleen's Kiss collided on the first turn, checking Saint Destructor. Star Fever and Thomeli Tash collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Aston Jewel checked off Nimble Leo approaching the home turn and raced wide as a result. 

Star Cluster was slow to begin. Silver Smarty, Golden Sunrise and Medium Rare collided soon after the start. Fawn Secrets and Gypsy Shane collided on the first turn. Medium Rare and Refueled collided on the home turn checking Medium Rare.

A post-race sample was taken from Silver Smarty - the winner of the event.

Star Cluster- "Box First" removed. 

Primo Beso– Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from being on season.

Nasty Rach was slow to begin. Ebby's Plan, Primo Beso and Miss Adelaide collided approaching the first turn. Primo Beso checked off Maximum Bliss approaching the home turn and raced wide. Miss Adelaide and Nasty Rach collided on the home turn and  again approaching the winning post. 

Point And Run, which trailled the field throughout and tailed off was vetted following the event and was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle and left and right quadriceps. 

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr A. Harding regarding the performance of Point And Run in this event.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Point And Run must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aston Xanadu and Why Not Macca collided soon after the start. Tigga Toy checked off Go Natalie Go on the first turn checking Here Comes Tom and Aston Xanadu. Tigga Toy and Why Not Macca collided approaching the home turn.

Pepper Rock and You Rippa Pippa collided soon after the start. Unwanted Lady checked off You Rippa Pippa on the first turn. Chasing James and Pepper Rock collided approaching the home turn. Mema Wibble raced wide on the home turn checking Redcliff Rebel. 

Auggie – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a left scapula fracture.

Why Not Loz was very slow to begin (4L). Gunmetal Liam and Runnin' Royalty collided soon after the start. Gunmetal Liam and St. Pauli collided on the first turn checking Gunmetal Liam. Runnin' Royalty raced wide on the first turn. Eaglehawk Miss raced wide on the home turn. Gunmetal Liam and Why Not Loz collided approaching the winning post.

Mighty Max Gone underwent a pre race veterinary inspection and was  cleared to race.

Galactic Athena and Runnin' Rampage were slow to begin. Summer Skye and Lucille Dior collided approaching the first turn checking Summer Skye which collided with Galactic Athena. Summer Skye and Crackerjack Dazza collided on the first turn. Lucille Dior and Lagoon Pirate collided approaching the home turn. Galactic Athena and Mighty Max Gone collided on the home turn. Mighty Max Gone and Lagoon Pirate collided approaching the winning post.

Kalani Willow was slow to begin. Ominous Warning and Black Lazarus collided soon after the start. Brake Drum checked off Brother Griff on the first turn. Black Lazarus and Kalani Willow collided in the home straight.

Azure Dragon and Wolf Point were slow to begin. Cruzin', Why Not Kez and Searching collided on the first turn checking Why Not Kez, Searching and Ample Warning.
