Still Rockin' – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing after being on season. Still Rockin' also had a new declared weight of 30.2kgs, last raced at 29.1kgs.
Break The Plate was slow to begin.
Merida and Almapa Berisha collided soon after the start. Almapa Berisha contacted the running rail on the first turn, causing Almapa Berisha to lose considerable ground, checking Merida and Break The Plate. Almapa Berisha contacted the running rail on the home turn and collided with Merida, severely checking Almapa Berisha.
Almapa Berisha underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the right achilles. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
