Steward's Report
Samples were taken from Dyna Virion, Dyna Xarvel, Dyna Darius and Dyna Zaylee at the Trainer’s kennel earlier today. A post race sample was taken from Dyna Ukana as a sample was unable to be obtained earlier today.
Too Easy Jack, Dyna Virion and Ernesto Bale were slow to begin. Dyna Xarvel and Gala Bale collided soon after the start. Too Easy Jack and Dyna Virion collided soon after the start. Ernesto Bale crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Fran Bale, Too Easy Jack and Dyna Virion causing Too Easy Jack to brush the running rail as a result. Dyna Xarvel and Gala Bale collided on the first turn. Fran Bale and Dyna Virion collided approaching the second turn. Unity Allen and Dyna Ukana collided entering the back straight. Fran Bale and Unity Allen collided approaching the home turn. Fran Bale and Gala Bale collided on the home turn. Fran Bale and Unity Allen collided in the home straight.
Too Easy Jack was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right calf and right triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr T. Duncan, regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the second turn. Stewards noted Mr Duncan's explanation and took no further action.
