Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Spector Icon.
Kraken Greta was quick to begin. Jumbo Bale was slow to begin. Lingua Franca and Kraken Greta collided soon after the start. Kraken Greta, Spector Icon and Seabrook Gem collided on the first turn checking Kraken Greta. Spector Icon and Jumbo Bale collided approaching the home turn, Spector Icon faltered and pulled up as a result.
Spector Icon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have multiple fractures to the tarsal bones, Spector Icon was humanely euthanised.
