A sample was taken from Unwanted Lady at the Trainer’s kennel earlier today. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Speedy Spyro.

Unwanted Lady and Deano's Mojo collided soon after the start. Bear Cabang and Unwanted Lady collided on the first turn. Speedy Spyro and Callum's Son collided approaching the home turn. Wolf Point and Bear Cabang collided entering the home straight. Deano's Mojo and Callum's Son collided in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Spector Icon.

Kraken Greta was quick to begin. Jumbo Bale was slow to begin. Lingua Franca and Kraken Greta collided soon after the start. Kraken Greta, Spector Icon and Seabrook Gem collided on the first turn checking Kraken Greta. Spector Icon and Jumbo Bale collided approaching the home turn, Spector Icon faltered and pulled up as a result.

Spector Icon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have multiple fractures to the tarsal bones, Spector Icon was humanely euthanised.

Bakali Jet  – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Cranbourne for failing to chase. Weighing 29.5kg and beginning from box 1, Bakali Jet completed the 425m trial distance in a time of 24.06. Bakali Jet placed 4th in a field of five starters beaten by 5.5 lengths. Bakali Jet has been not cleared to race because it failed to pursue the lure soon after the start.  

Bear Left – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Bendigo for failing to chase by reason of injury. Weighing 32.2kg and beginning from box 8, Bear Left completed the 425m trial distance in a time of 24.06. Bear Left placed 2nd in a field of four starters beaten by 3.5 lengths. Bear Left has been(cleared to race at all tracks.

Knockout Fantasy – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Ballarat for failing to chase. Weighing 32.5kg and beginning from box 2, Knockout Fantasy completed the 425m trial distance in a time of 24.06. Knockout Fantasy placed 1st in a field of 5 winning by 3.5 lengths. Knockout Fantasy has been cleared to race at all tracks except Ballarat.

Tiny Wally – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Shepparton for failing to chase. Weighing 32.9kg and beginning from box 3, Tiny Wally completed the 425m trial distance in a time of 24.06. Tiny Wally placed 5th in a field of 5 beaten by 12.5 lengths. Tiny Wally has not been cleared to race due to injury.   

Lord Jack – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a stopper bone injury. Weighing 32.8kg and beginning from box 7, Lord Jack completed the 425m trial distance in a time of 24.06. Lord Jack placed 3rd in a field of 5 beaten by 5 lengths. Lord Jack has been cleared to race.

Tiny Wally underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left flexor tendon injury. A 10 stand down period was imposed.
