Star Cluster was slow to begin.
Akuma Fireball and Giggling Gerty collided soon after the start checking Giggling Gerty. Coffey Road, Had To Listen, Space Trucking and Thomeli Gal collided approaching the first turn checking Had To Listen and Thomeli Gal. Indoctrinated, Had to Listen and Thomeli Gal collided on the first turn checking Had To Listen, Thomeli Gal and Akuma Fireball. Space Trucking raced wide on the home turn. Indoctrinated and Giggling Gerty collided several times approaching the winning post.
