Steward's Report
Faraday and Black Spring were slow to begin.
Pool Hall and Mahoney Miss collided on the first turn checking Mahoney Miss. Pool Hall raced wide in the back straight. Black Spring and Mahoney Miss collided approaching the home turn checking Mahoney Miss. Miss Dee Meadows, Bob's Brew and Faraday collided on the home turn checking Bob's Brew.
Bob's Brew which tired over the concluding stages underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no abnormality was detected Trainer, Mr R.Brewer stated he was disappointed with the performance of Bob's Brew but added the greyhound may have been feeling flat after racing at The Meadows on March 23. Mr Brewer indicated it was his intention to freshen the greyhound before it races again.
A post-race sample was taken from Ash Star - the winner of the event.
