Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Pursell the trainer of Rippin' Sam regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Rippin' Sam last raced on 16/09/18.  Mr. Pursell stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a sesamoid injury.  Mr. Pursell declared a new weight of 35.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Rippin' Sam last raced at 33.7kg.

Hot Tip was quick to begin.  Midnight Mystery was slow to begin.  Rippin' Sam faltered approaching the first turn and subsequently tailed off.

Rippin' Sam was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left wrist, left triangle muscle and bruising around left the calf, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards directed a sample be taken.

As  per GAR 75. The trainer of  Rippin' Sam reported that the greyhound was sore in the left wrist and would require a course of anti inflamatories  

Cassius Monelli and Spazzy Blue were quick to begin.  Galloping Leo and Form A Circle collided soon after the start checking Galloping Leo.  Spazzy Blue and Not Loitering collided on the first turn checking Spazzy Blue.  Form A Circle and Data Star collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Belleperri Miss and severely checking Form A Circle.  Galloping Leo and Data Star collided entering the home straight.

Italian Plastic and Sure To Excite collided approaching the first turn.  Kouta Mayhem, Orson Allen and Elevated collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Italian Plastic and Sure To Excite collided on the first turn checking Italian Plastic.  Orson Allen and Sure To Excite collided approaching the home turn checking Sure To Excite.

Tito Mojito was a late scratching at 6.20pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to a laceration to the right hind foot.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Bahen the representative for Miss Pepperjack regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Miss Pepperjack last raced on 29/09/18.  Mr. Bahen stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right hock injury.

Mrs. W. Cunningham the trainer of She's Perfect declared a new weight of 33.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  She's Perfect last raced at 31.9kg.
