Steward's Report
Amy Amour and Awesome Shep were slow to begin.
Good Humour checked off Ikon Parker approaching the first turn. Big Bubbles, Ikon Parker and Guns Blazing collided approaching the first turn checking Big Bubbles and Ikon Parker. Moon Phase and Guns Ablazing collided on the first turn checking Guns Ablazing. Ikon Parker and Awesome Shep collided on the first turn. Good Humour and Guns Ablazing collided approaching the home turn, unbalancing Good Humour who was turned outwards. Guns Ablazing then galloped on Good Humour approaching the home turn. Moon Phase and Awesome Shep collided in the home straight.
Good Humour was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained bruising over the left fore leg and both hind legs and multiple minor lacerations to the hind limbs. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. V. Mileto regarding the racing manners of Good Humour approaching the home turn. Mr. Mileto explained the greyhound likes to race wide and was checked by Guns Ablazing approaching the home turn. Stewards accepted Mr. Mileto's explanation.

Trainer James Arthur's request for an early race for Moon Phase was approved after an examination in the kennel area by Dr N. Evans.
