Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Knocker, the representative of Perfect Marshall regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Perfect Marshall last raced on 19th September, 2018. Mr. Knocker stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a left shoulder injury.
Perfect Marshall was slow to begin. Princess Spolly checked off Secret Service approaching the first turn. Egoline galloped on Princess Spolly on the first turn causing Princess Spolly to fall severely checking Egoline which lost considerable ground as a result. Secret Service and Just Burning collided approaching the home turn checking Secret Service.
Egoline was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Princess Spolly was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
