Steward's Report
The close of kennelling was delayed by approximately half an hour due to technical issues with Fasttrack. Consequently all race times were put back a race, with race 12 starting at 10.50pm.
Got The Edge checked off Dyna Acacia soon after the start. Cougar Icon, Pandora's Dream and Pandora's Devil collided soon after the start. Lia Capri and La Coconut collided soon after the start. Got The Edge galloped on Cougar Icon approaching the first turn checking Cougar Icon. Got The Edge, Cougar Icon, Pandora's Dream, Battered Sav and Pandora's Devil collided on the first turn, severely checking Got The Edge and Cougar Icon, and causing Pandora's Dream to fall. Lia Capri and La Coconut collided repeatedly approaching the home turn and on the home turn. Lia Capri shifted out in the home straight and raced wide, checking Cougar Icon.
Pandora's Dream was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left quadriceps, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
