The close of kennelling was delayed by approximately half an hour due to technical issues with Fasttrack. Consequently all race times were put back a race, with race 12 starting at 10.50pm.

Got The Edge checked off Dyna Acacia soon after the start. Cougar Icon, Pandora's Dream and Pandora's Devil collided soon after the start. Lia Capri and La Coconut collided soon after the start. Got The Edge galloped on Cougar Icon approaching the first turn checking Cougar Icon. Got The Edge, Cougar Icon, Pandora's Dream, Battered Sav and Pandora's Devil collided on the first turn, severely checking Got The Edge and Cougar Icon, and causing Pandora's Dream to fall. Lia Capri and La Coconut collided repeatedly approaching the home turn and on the home turn. Lia Capri shifted out in the home straight and raced wide, checking Cougar Icon. 

Pandora's Dream was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left quadriceps, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Noonbarra Jack was slow to begin. Swift Succession was very slow to begin (3L). 

Percy Allen and Gendarme collided soon after the start checking Percy Allen. Gendarme galloped on Zipping Sandy approaching the first turn checking Zipping Sandy. Gendarme and Noonbarra Jack collided on the first turn. Percy Allen checked off Swift Succession on the first turn. Suvla Bay and Dyna Aakil collided entering the home straight. Zipping Sandy raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight checking Gendarme.

She Will Bloom was quick to begin.

Dyna Saurus checked off Osiris Child soon after the start checking Dyna Quark. Done It Again and Dyna Yardo collided approaching the first turn. Dyna Quark and Dyna Waqa collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Quark. Osiris Child, Dyna Saurus, Done It Again and Dyna Yardo collided on the first turn checking Dyna Saurus and Done It Again. Dyna Saurus and Done It Again collided approaching the home turn.

Poppy Yaala and Blackpool Remi were quick to begin. Amor Vincit blundered soon after the start and lost ground.

Know Success, Kurri Kurri and My Word Shirley collided on the first turn checking Kurri Kurri. Maximum Kobi checked off Kurri Kurri approaching the home turn. King Lorrimer and Crackerjack Jase collided entering the home straight. 

Stewards spoke to Mr T. Daily, the representative of Rockstar Steffi regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Rockstar Steffi last raced on 22 September, 2018. Mr Daily stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change in kennels.

The start of this race was delayed by approximately 6 minutes to allow staff to remove rabbits from the middle of the track.

Renaldo checked off Poor Old Frank soon after the start.

Azure Dragon and Noonbarra Storm were slow to begin.

Lektra Flirt and Bomber's Baby collided soon after the start. Party Mix, Winlock Intent, Bomber's Baby and Spider Regis collided on the first turn checking Bomber's Baby. Azure Dragon galloped on Bomber's Baby on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Spider Regis contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.

Spider Regis was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Eden Lass was slow to begin.

Petey Baqui, Merl's Angel, Ringcraft, Counting Pennies and Fernando's Flare collided on the first turn checking Ringcraft, Counting Pennies and Cosmic Moments. Cosmic Moments faltered on the first turn, lost ground from that point and finished tailed off. Counting Pennies checked off Fernando Flare approaching the home turn, also checking Eden Lass.

Cosmic Moments was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.
