Roulette Blues was slow to begin. Spring Unit began awkwardly and was slow to begin. Ko Rapid Jack stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin.

George Knockin' crossed out soon after the start. Tex Kingdom crossed out at the 250m mark checking Ashby Diva, Pandora's Dream and Roulette Blues. Spring Unit checked off Ko Rapid Jack at the 150m mark. Tex Kingdom crossed to the outside at the 150m mark checking George Knockin'. Ko Rapid Jack crossed to the outside at the 100m mark checking Ashby Diva and Pandora's Devil.

Spring Unit was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Ms B Pell, the trainer of Theme Tune regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Theme Tune last raced on 28 September 2018. Ms Pell stated that the greyhound is returning to racing following a left wrist Injury. Ms Pell also declared a new weight of 28.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).Theme Tune last raced at 27.1kg

Buck Tooth Bling was slow to begin.

Theme Tune and Treble Clef collided soon after the start. Treble Clef checked off Billy's Missile at the 300m mark. Theme Tune crossed to the outside at the 250m mark. Buck Tooth Bling, Jack Skywalker and Billy's Missile collided at the 250m mark. Billy's Missile checked off Tanya's Way at the 150m mark.

Stewards spoke to Ms J Power, the handler of Tippa Power regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Tippa Power last raced on 19 July 2018. Ms Power stated that the greyhound is returning to racing following a right wrist Injury. 

Tippa Power and Atlas Anonymous were slow to begin. Ulitimate Amadeus crossed in soon after start checking Off The Bench and Gunai Gypsy. Gunai Gypsy crossed to the rail approaching the 50m mark checking Atlas Anonymous. Atlas Anonymous crossed out approaching the winning post. Horey's Prince and Ultimate Amadeus collided approaching the winning post.

Tinker Bess was slow to begin. Superior Briz began awkwardly and was slow to begin.

Amlin Miss and Merl's Michu collided soon after the start. Merl's Michu checked off Star Hennessy at the 150m mark and raced wide.

A pre race sample was taken from Destini Florida.

Lady Mikado was quick to begin. Gee Dalton, Ryben Jack and Bluehawk Robert were slow to begin. Destini Florida, Bluehawk Robert and Sarah Smirnoff collided at the 300m mark, checking Bluehawk Robert. Destini Florida and Sarah Smirnoff collided at the 250m mark. Sweet Strike checked off Gee Dalton at the 200m mark. Destini Florida and Lady Mikado collided at the 150m mark. Gee Dalton and Sarah Smirnoff collided at the 150m mark. Bluehawk Robert and Lady Mikado collided approaching the winning post checking Lady Mikado.

Two Seasons was a late scratching at 10.35am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr G Edwards, trainer of Sports Knight declared a new weight of 29.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Sports Knight last raced at 31.4kg.

Invictus Lawless was slow to begin.

Bugs Baloney and Invictus Lawless collided soon after the start. Keep Talking and Bourbon An Kahn collided approaching  the 300m mark. Keep Talking and Bugs Baloney collided at the 300m mark checking Keep Talking. Bugs Baloney and Invictus Lawless collided approaching the 250m mark.

A pre race sample was taken from Groomer McGrath.

Amlin Freddie, Groomer McGrath, Zed Merrett and Prince Mikado collided soon after the start. Monster Jam Jack and Prince Mikado collided soon after the start. Zed Merrett crossed in at the 250m mark and collided with Lock Pepper and Prince Mikado checking Prince Mikado. Amlin Freddie and Groomer McGrath collided from the 150m to the 100m mark checking Groomer McGrath. Zed Merrett and Prince Mikado collided approaching the 100m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr J Hetherton, the trainer of Boof's Banjo regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Boof's Banjo last raced on 6 September 2018. Mr Hetherton stated that the greyhound had changed kennels and trainer.

Mr R Colpoys, trainer of Baby Huey declared a new weight of 32.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Baby Huey last raced at  30.5kg.

Boof's Banjo was slow to begin.

Baby Huey and Boof's Banjo collided soon after start checking Boof's Banjo. Outta My Depth and Ryder Sir collided soon after the start. Boof's Banjo faltered and tailed off soon after the start. Outta My Depth and Ryder Sir collided approaching the 250m mark checking Ryder Sir. Blusain Bolt faltered and lost ground approaching the 150m mark.

Blusain Bolt was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Boof's Banjo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr D Pell, the handler of Call Me Bubbles regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Call Me Bubbles last raced on 18 September 2018. Mr Pell stated that the greyhound suffered an injury to it's right wrist. Mr D Pell, handler of Call Me Bubbles declared a new weight of 31.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Call Me Bubbles last raced at 30.0kg.

Fabelite was quick to begin. Anndar Amoree was slow to begin.

Fabelite, Call Me Bubbles and Superior Sam collided soon after the start. Fabelite and Superior Sam collided and raced wide from the 250m mark through to the 150m mark.

Superior Beam and Vandebay were slow to begin.

Superior Indi and Calabrese Bullet collided soon after the start. Golden Romance and Superior Uno collided at the 200m mark. Superior Beam, Superior Uno and Golden Romance collided at the 150m mark checking Golden Romance. Superior Uno checked off Forgotten Girl at the 100m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr Andrew Paraskevas, the trainer of Nervous An Weird regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Nervous An Weird last raced on 20 September 2018. Mr Paraskevas stated that the greyhound was resuming racing folowing a right hock injury.

Stewards spoke to Mr Andrew Paraskevas regarding the reason for the scratching of Quena Dee Air from this event. Mr Paraskevas stated that the greyhound had not recovered well from the recent hot weather and in his opinion it was in the best interest of the greyhound to not take part in today’s event. Stewards noted the explanation and took no further action.
