Kayda King was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained fractures to the left radius and right humerus, and was humanely euthanased.

Satisfactory Trial Results

Dyna Nancy trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 27.4kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.67, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3 lengths. Dyna Nancy was Cleared.

Patchie Thief trialled over the 390m from box 3, weight 26.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.67, the greyhound won by a margin of 3 lengths. Patchie Thief was Cleared. 

Talkback Caller trialled over the 390m from box 8, weight 37.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.67, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.25 lengths.Talkback Caller was Cleared.
