Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Anthony Azzopardi, the trainer of Major Riot, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Major Riot last raced on 14 July 2018. Mr Azzopardi stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following right hock, left stopper and left hip support injuries.
Big Bazza and Mepunga Bonnie were slow to begin. Mepunga Bonnie checked off Jar Man soon after the start. Big Bazza and Jar Man collided approaching the first turn. Major Riot, Big Bazza, Jar Man and Desiree Dancer collided on the first turn, severely checking Big Bazza and checking Mepunga Bonnie. Major Riot and Jar Man collided approaching the home turn, checking Jar Man and Desiree Dancer. Jar Man and Desiree Dancer collided on the home turn, checking Big Bazza and Jar Man.
