Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Azzopardi, the trainer of Uno Fabio regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Uno Fabio last raced on 14th July 2018. Mr. Azzopardi stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a right stopper tendon injury.
Fat Rhino was slow to begin.
Dewana Be Sure, Fat Rhino, Bound After Gold, Uno Fabio and Yeah Okay collided soon after the start. Dewana Be Sure galloped on the heels of Yeah Okay approaching the first turn checking Bound After Gold and severely checking Yeah Okay which fell. Uno Fabio, Dewana Be Sure and Fat Rhino collided approaching the first turn checking Dewana Be Sure. Krupa and Bear Left collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Uno Fabio and Loch Tight collided entering the home straight.
Yeah Okay was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock and was humanely euthanased.
