Placid Murphy, Magic Shianne and Sazoo Icon collided approaching the first turn checking Magic Shianne and severely checking Placid Murphy and Sazoo Icon. Magic Shianne, Puffin' Stuff and Aston Jagger collided approaching the home turn checking Puffin' Stuff.

Track Curator Mr B.Groom advised stewards that the track was medium harrowed on 18 December, 2018.

Satisfactory Weight Trial (Solo) - Stage Fright trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 34.1kg. The time of the trial was 23.13, Stage Fright was cleared.
