Jye Licious was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr D Trewin, trainer of First Responder declared a new weight of 32.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). First Responder last raced at 31.7kgs and is returning from a spell.

Handler Mr K Ward was fined the sum of $100 pursuant to GAR 46(2) for failing to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve Mrs. Harwicke for it's engagement.

Stewards spoke to Mr J Galea, the representative of the greyhound Rocketness regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Rocketness was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abraded left pad, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Rocketness with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr K Lloyd, the representative of Ben's Talon regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Ben's Talon last raced on 12th July 2018. Mr Lloyd stated that the greyhound was returning from a spell.
