Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Bluegrass Icon.
Bluegrass Icon and Reiko Ablett were quick to begin.
Sisco Dun, Mr. Moonlight and Slink Inky collided on the first turn. Mr. Moonlight galloped on Slinky Inky on the first turn, Slinky Inky faltered and pulled up as a result severely checking Mr. Moonlight. Especial Shiraz checked off Bluegrass Icon on the third turn. Reiko Ablett crossed to the rail on the fourth turn checking Bluegrass Icon and Orazzi Ohh.
Slinky Inky was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist sprain and a spike wound to the right wrist, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Reiko Ablett - winner of the event.
