Talanjee Minnie was a late scratching at 11.18am on Veterinary advice (GAR 37) (fleas). Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.

She's Got Bounce and Stari Grad were quick to begin.  Tiny Wally and Kid Lavros were slow to begin.

Got The Edge and Crowdza Jumpin' collided soon after the start checking Crowdza Jumpin'.  Got The Edge checked off Stari Grad on the first turn severely checking Got The Edge and Kid Lavros.  Got The Bounce checked off Kid Lavros on the second turn.  Got The Edge checked off Tiny Wally on the home turn.  She's Got Bounce turned its head inwards approaching the winning post. 

Stewards spoke to Mr G. Turnbull, the representative of the greyhound Got The Edge regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. She's Got Bounce was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right hind hock, bruising to the left wrist and a spike wound to the left front toe, a 3 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged She's Got Bounce with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Turnbull pleaded guilty to the charge, She's Got Bounce was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.  

Broken Pieces was quick to begin.

Broken Pieces, Black Rose Texas and Raweenie collided approaching the first turn checking Broken Pieces and Black Rose Texas.  Kintamani, Raweenie and Smart Mary collided on the first turn checking Smart Mary.  Black Rose Texas checked off Smart Mary on the second turn.  Broken Pieces and Black Rose Texas collided on the second turn checking Broken Pieces.  Kintamani and Raweenie collided on the second turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bluegrass Icon.

Bluegrass Icon and Reiko Ablett were quick to begin.

Sisco Dun, Mr. Moonlight and Slink Inky collided on the first turn. Mr. Moonlight galloped on Slinky Inky on the first turn, Slinky Inky faltered and pulled up as a result severely checking Mr. Moonlight.  Especial Shiraz checked off Bluegrass Icon on the third turn.  Reiko Ablett crossed to the rail on the fourth turn checking Bluegrass Icon and Orazzi Ohh.

Slinky Inky was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist sprain and a spike wound to the right wrist, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Savannah Icon was quick to begin.  Zipping Hayne was slow to begin.

Zipping Hayne checked off Cette To Dance on the first turn.  Zipping Hayne galloped on Cette To Dance in the back straight checking Zipping Hayne.  Pattaya Paul checked off Savannah Icon on the third turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Kiss Me Razley upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Miyagi Magic was slow to begin.

Okay Kirsty checked off Kiss Me Nicki soon after the start checking Miyagi Magic.  Miyagi Magic checked off Okay Kirsty on the first turn.

Okay Kirsty was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left hind hock, no stand down period was imposed.

At the start of this event the outside temperature was 31.8 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.7 degrees.

This event was delayed by approx. 1.30secs due to Terang gallops running behind schedule.

Pandaken and Detroit Wally were slow to begin.

Pandaken checked off Sweet Bourbski on the third turn.  Pandaken and Sweet Bourbski collided on the fourth turn checking Pandaken.

A post-race sample was taken from Big Bang Tears - winner of the event.

Heza Real Deal was a late scratching at 8.38am due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bourbski Bar and Pagan Dancer collided soon after the start.  Pagan Dancer and Our Flying Laura collided approaching the second turn checking Pagan Dancer.  Bourbski Bar and Wise Ricciardo collided entering the home straight.

Ursula Allen was quick to begin.  Owen Money was slow to begin.

Yoppi Allen, Kaylin and Bakali Louis collided on the first turn checking Kaylin.  Yoppi Allen galloped on Ursula Allen in the home straight checking Yoppi Allen.

Sisco Bella was quick to begin.  Another Bling and Rockstar Jane were slow to begin.

Dyna Benny and Happy Tails collided on the first turn checking Happy Tails.  Another Bling, Rockstar Jane and Dyna Benny collided in the front straight checking Dyna Benny.  Dyna Benny checked off Happy Tails on the second turn.  Dyna Benny and Happy Tails collided several times from in the back straight to the home turn.
