Audacious Poppy was quick to begin. Sweet As Emm was slow to begin.

Wild Hunny and Samsonite collided approaching the first turn. Sweet As Emm and Our Didda collided approaching the first turn checking Sweet As Emm. Audacious Poppy checked off Fundamental on the first turn. Sweet As Emm checked off Audacious Poppy on the second turn. Fundamental lost ground on the third turn. Sweet As Emm and Fundamental collided entering the home straight.

Fundamental was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
