Xela Allen was a late scratching at 11.03AM due to soreness to the left front leg.(GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Uma Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to Andrea Dailly, the trainer of Ebby Lamar regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Ebby Lamar last raced on 11th May 2018. Mrs Dailly stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel.

This race was delayed by approximately six minutes, due to a malfunction with the automated lure control box.

Lucy's Otis was slow to begin. Shorty George went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Ebby Lamar and Quara's Flick collided several times approaching the first turn, checking Ebby Lamar and Lucy's Otis. Quara's Flick and Quara's Beth collided approaching the home turn. Serendipity Gold was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left hind paw, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Shima Mart, Knocker's Gold, Rowchester Flash and Snags McKenzie collided approaching the first turn, checking Rowchester Flash. Reiko Ablett and Quara's Xavier collided approaching the first turn. Snags McKenzie, Knocker's Gold and Quara's Xavier collided on the first turn, checking Knocker's Gold. Rowchester Flash and Hotspur Joey raced wide approaching the home turn.

Blackpool Nugget checked off Magic Lantern on the home turn, and collided with Five Times Table, both greyhounds raced wide as a result. Red King Prince checked off Taabi entering the home straight, and collided with Pandora's Comet. Five Times Table and Blackpool Nugget collided in the home straight. 

Middle Chic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 60 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Blackpool Nugget, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Kevin Breen regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Five Times Table.  Stewards directed that Five Times Table be boxed first in future events.

Giant Jarvis was slow to begin. Cherokee Thunder checked off Dyna Bitey approaching the first turn. Cherokee Thunder, Luke Roman and She's Wicked collided on the first turn, checking She's Wicked and Luke Roman. Dyna Bitey and Bomber's Return collided on the home turn.

Ace Ventura was slow to begin, stumbled soon after the start, and lost considerable ground. Minnesota Lee checked off Bobby Tokaam approaching the first turn. Swift Ruby and Bobby Tokaam collided on the first turn, checking Swift Ruby. Brake Drum checked off Rythym Taboo on the first turn.

Rythym Taboo was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Ace Ventura was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. Michael Chilcott, the trainer of Rythym Taboo regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. 

Ocean Realm, Pa's Girl and Magic Shianne collided approaching the first turn, checking Pa's Girl. Tashendo, Ocean Realm and Magic Shianne collided approaching the first turn, checking Ocean Realm and Magic Shianne. Yenderra Blue crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Shimmy Dat Ray, Tashendo and Magic Shianne. Tashendo raced wide in the home straight.

Ocean Realm was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a lost nail to the left hind leg and a torn nail to the right hind leg, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
